抽象画の制作
As to abstract painting
抽象画の場合は具象画と違って、描こうとする具体的な対象、モデルはありません。漠然としたイメイジらしきものを頭に描き取り掛かることもありますが、時にはそれさえなく、カンヴァス、紙に、とにかく色を塗ってみることから始めます。色を塗り重ねたり消したりしながら、じっくり画面を眺めているとそのうち色彩のイメイジが増殖し、空間がひろがり、私自身の言語で次第にフォルムが具体化されていきます。
二次元空間のなかで色と色とがぶつかり合い、せめぎあっているうちに、混沌としたカオス(khaos)のなかから秩序とム−ブマンが形成されていくのです。
しかし、時には方向性が定まらず、結局、空中分解してしまうこともありますが、最初から具体的なイメイジを頭に描き取り掛かると、それに縛られて自由な発想が出来ず失敗してしまう事も有ります。
要するに、抽象画においては参考となる具体的な対象がなく、無意味な線や形、そして色面による二次元世界の感覚的造形です。
抽象画と具象画は確かに異なる概念のものですが、例えばカンディスキ−(Kandinsky)の軌跡のように作家の根っこの部分にある個人の美意識、色彩感覚は不変。技法と思考方法においても近代絵画と抽象画との間には共有している、または共有できる部分があると思います。
In case of abstract painting, there is no model, no visuable object that I wantto modify or copy. Then, at any way, I start off painting with sprading canvas (or paper) on the floor, and drop pigments and paint on it without any preconcept what I want to paint. Painting has been done with drawing sinple lines and forms of no meaning, which is neither imaging any creatures nor objects of any simbolic concept. In a process of working, -brushing and erasing paints in Khaos, an imaging sohpisticated formss will be gradually concreted on the canvas with vivid and bright colors.
Therefore, there is no reference of the visuable world in my abstraction. It's a creature of the metaphysical inner self.
