Makoto Fujikawa

One of few active tap dancer and choreographer of “FUNK STYLE” of tap dance in Japan.

To popularize the own tap funk style, Makoto established the dance studio and
the dance team named “M’S TAP FACTORY” and Makoto performed and choreographed many stages.
 On a parallel with that, Makoto established the tap funk team named “rhythm bank”,
and goes on many HIPHOP dance stages and always praised by the audience.
Makoto is always searching for the new style of tap dance.
 Makoto went on the biggest tap dance festival stage in US, held in St.Louis, as a delegation of Japan in August 2000.
 “rhythm bank” won the first prize in the tap dance contest in Japan.

As an active dancer, on the other hand, Makoto established the “Dance Kovo” in 1998.
It’s a temporary employment agency for the instructors in dance, and also nursery to bring along the instructors in dance.
Now, Makoto is sending the instructors to many dance studios.
 Also, Makoto is a member of “The Choreographer Society of Japan”,
So that, Makoto actives with the very famous choreographers and dancers, who choreographes the TV shows and stages in japan.

日本ではまだ少ないＦＵＮＫスタイルのタップダンサー＆コレオグラファーとして活躍。

ＴＡＰ ＦＵＮＫオリジナルスタイルを広める為に、
ＳＴＵＤＩＯ＆ＤＡＮＣＥ ＴＥＡＭ「Ｍ’Ｓ ＴＡＰ ＦＡＣＴＯＲＹ」を設立し、様々なライブに振付・出演する。
また、それと平行して、ＴＡＰ ＦＵＮＫ ＴＥＡＭ「ｒｈｙｔｈｍ ｂａｎｋ」を結成し、ＨＩＰＨＯＰ系ダンスライブなどに多数出演し絶賛を得る。
常にＴＡＰの新しいスタイルを追求し続けている。
２０００年８月には、アメリカ・セントルイスで行われた全米最大のタップダンスフェスティバルに日本代表として出演。
２００３年１月には、タップダンスコンテストにおいて見事優勝を果たす。

また、現役ダンサーとして活躍する傍ら、
９８年よりダンスインストラクター派遣・養成専門の「ダンス工房」を設立し、
様々なダンススタジオなどにインストラクターを派遣している。
現在、日本振付家協会（The Choreographer Society of Japan）にも所属し、
タレント・ＴＶ・舞台などで振付師としても活躍している。
